The title of this video is “Racism is NOT a Problem in America.” How in the world could anyone reach that conclusion with all that’s going on in our country. I mean, you’d have to be crazy to say that, right? Well, in this video, I’m going to show you exactly how that’s true according to the Word of God and how we are far later in God’s prophetic timeline of events than you think. Time is running out. It’s time to take a stand. Let’s look into it.

By now, everyone around the world knows the name George Floyd. What happened to him was almost universally recognized as cold, heartless, criminal murder. It never should have happened. It never should have been allowed with so many looking on. Someone should have had the courage to stop it. But for the last 8 1/2 minutes of George Floyd’s life, no one did. Those who could have stopped it just stood by and watched, as this black man’s life was needlessly taken in what appeared to most people as obvious, cruel racism.

As a result, the streets of America were literally set on fire, with massive marches, riots, lootings and arson. How the world reacted, though, wasn’t just about George Floyd. Mr. Floyd was just the tipping point, the latest straw in a long line of these kinds of things happening to the Black community. Only this time, it wasn’t just the Black community that reacted. This time, the entire world saw what was done and came together to shout, “Enough!” People of all colors and walks of life joined with the Black community to march for justice and an end to racism. 

But as determined as those people who are marching and the politicians behind them are, they’re not going to fix this. That’s because racism isn’t the problem. You can pass all the laws you want. You can rewrite the Constitution and spend billions of dollars sending the entire world to diversity training. You can fire all the police and transform society under a new set of rules. But it still won’t put an end to racism or this kind of evil. No amount of legislation can fix this. No matter how hard we try, there will be other George Floyd’s that follow. There will be continued racism. 

All of these attempted fixes and solutions won’t work because racism isn’t the problem. Don’t hear me wrong. Racism is a terrible issue and the pain it causes is very real and destructive. But it’s not the core problem that we should be fixing. In fact, racism isn’t the problem at all. It’s the symptom. And that’s why no solution will work, because they are all trying to fix the symptom instead of the problem.

It’s like saying that pain in your side is a problem, when the real problem is the cancer that’s causing the pain. Or saying that headache that won’t go away is a problem, and it really hurts. But the real problem is the tumor that’s causing the headache.

Racism is NOT a problem in America. Racism is a symptom. It’s a symptom of a heart gone wrong, a heart that has turned away from God and is walking away from Him instead of toward Him.

The real problem that’s causing all this is godlessness, the choice each person has made to turn away from God. As individuals and as a society, we have turned away from God saying, “We don’t need You anymore.” And look at what that’s gotten us. Murder, looting and chaos in our streets. The real solution: turn back to God. We need to repent and turn from wickedness, from our selfish sinful nature, and instead, turn to God. But time to do that is running out. It’s later than you think. It’s time to take a stand.

In Matthew 22, Jesus was asked:

“Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Matthew 22:36-39

Do you think George Floyd would be alive today if those policemen had been walking closely with God, loving God and doing what Jesus said, to love their neighbors as themselves? I think they would have treated Mr. Floyd a whole lot better than they did if their hearts were right with God, to where God was first in their lives.

Do you think protestors would have looted, burned buildings and assaulted people if they had been walking with God? I think the whole situation on both sides would have looked very different.

You can’t change other people’s hearts. But you can change your own. How about it?

How long will God allow America to walk away from Him and not face judgment? It’s later than you think. Time is running out. It’s time to take a stand.

When you put God first in your life, it changes everything. It changes the way you think and the way you act. It’s the real cure. It fixes the real problem.

There are so many things in our society that we view as problems, but are just symptoms. 

• Racism
• Divorce
• Abortion
• Drunkenness
• Drug addition
• Depression
• Child abuse
• Sexual immorality
• Stealing
• Lying
• Hatred
• Violence
• Murder

These are all symptoms caused by the same problem: a stubborn, selfish heart that refuses to turn to God and put Him first. A prideful, self-righteous heart that elevates self over God and other people. Would any of these terrible things be done by someone who was walking with God, putting Him first in his or her life and valuing others above themselves? These symptoms are an outward reflection of what’s in a person’s heart. What’s in your heart?

“For as (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7

“The heart (of man) is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” Luke 6:45

Which kind of treasure, good or evil, did we see displayed across our nation and across our television screens? What kind of treasure comes from your heart. You can’t change other people’s hearts. But you can lead the way and set an example by changing your own.

God’s judgment is coming to America and this world. All the signs point to it.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5

Doesn’t this sound like it was written for today? Is God’s judgment coming? The Bible says it is. Check your heart. Is it right with God? Check now, because it’s later than you think. Time is running out. It’s time to take a stand. It’s time to quit fooling around with God, ignoring Him.

Across our society, we have a heart condition. That’s the real problem. Across our nation, our hearts have turned away from God. It’s been coming on a long time. It  accelerated after prayer was removed from our schools and children began being taught that they don’t need God. So here we now are, reaping what we sowed. We now have an entire new generation caring more about themselves than God or others. But that didn’t catch God by surprise. He told us this would happen, the very events we see on our nightly news. He told us these things would happen right before the end, when judgement and destruction come.

Racism and these other symptoms have been around a long time, even from when life began on this world. But they are not the problem. 

Instead, if we fixed the real problem, of loving God first and then loving our neighbors, then all of these symptoms would simply go away. You wouldn’t need laws to end racism or to prevent police brutality, or counselors to hold marriages together, or guns to defend your life and property, or prisons to incarcerate people.  

We need to recognize the real problem. The anger that America feels toward racism is directed at the wrong thing. It’s directed at the symptom and not the problem. Hating each other because of racism. Hating the police. Tearing down society and burning it. All of this anger is directed at the wrong thing, at the symptom and not the cause. 

What’s more, we’re not even seeing who the real enemy is. It’s not the police. It’s not even other people. It’s not the KKK or white supremacists. Instead, the Bible tells us plainly that the battle is spiritual. 

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

The Bible plainly tells us that there are dark forces in charge of this world system that is in rebellion against God. There is a fight going on for your soul. It’s a spiritual battle that’s been going on a very long time. But God assures us that it won’t go on forever and that we have all but reached the end. This world system will suddenly come to an end, and soon. For God has warned us that His patience will not last forever. Life on this planet will not go on like it has been. God is about to intervene. And it’s later than you think. He’s already at the door. Time is running out. It’s time to take a stand. 

“My spirit shall not always strive with man” Genesis 6:3

God is about to bring this world into judgment. He has allowed it to continue to give people time to turn to Him and be saved. But His Word assures us that the end is coming and the time He is giving each of us to turn to Him will soon come to an end. Events on the evening news, the breakdown of society, are exactly what the Bible describes the world will be like right before God comes to judge the nations. Destruction is coming. It will happen soon and suddenly. And then it will be too late.

“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.” 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4

God is not desiring to bring this destruction. Instead, He desires that people turn to Him and repent of sins so that they will not be overtaken. If he wanted to destroy us, He will simply do it in a split-second and be done with all of us. Instead He waits and gives time for each person to repent. But that window of opportunity, that window for receiving grace and forgiveness is closing. As this verse says, He WILL allow destruction to come. He has promised it. And it will be come in a split-second. It will come suddenly, when people are not expecting it. It will be too late at that moment to escape it. Time is running out. It’s later than you think. It’s time to take a stand.

Recognize the time you are living in. There is a way out. A real cure to this problem.

2 Peter 3:3-12

“³ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

⁴ And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Was there ever a time when people walked more after their own lusts as today? America used to be a “Nation Under God.” Mention that now and you will be attacked and mocked. We’ve turned away from God to the point where we’re complacent about it and even indignant that anyone would accuse us of sin. People have forgotten that God already judged this world once on account of sin and promises to do it again.

⁵ For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

⁶ Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

God destroyed this earth once with water because of sin. But this next time, He promises to destroy it with fire.

⁷ But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Did you get that? Did you see the reason for this destruction that’s coming to America and the world? Ungodly men. People who have refused to turn to God. God has been extending grace and forgiveness to any and all people who want it and will turn to Him to receive it. But if they refuse, what else is there but judgment? Where does your heart stand today with God? God loves you and even calls you His beloved.

⁸ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

⁹ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise (of judgment), as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The fact that this message can be heard is evidence of God’s continuing grace. He doesn’t want to destroy us. So He waits for us to turn to Him. He pleads with us and calls out for us to turn to Him. But in the end, God is Holy and MUST judge sin. He will not let it go on much longer. This party is over. And that is why destruction will soon come.

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Nuclear war?  It’s sure easier to believe that now than it was just a few years ago. Have we reached that point in God’s timeline? I believe with all my heart that God is right at the door, ready to judge this earth. 

“And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.” Zechariah 14:12

I believe nuclear war is coming. And it is because of sin that God will allow it. There is an escape, a way out. Will you choose to take it? You can. But it’s later than you think. It’s time to take a stand. It’s time to check your heart with God.

The Bible says that, following the death and resurrection of Jesus, He has allowed the period of time in which we now live, where people can turn to God and find forgiveness by believing that Jesus died to pay for their sins. But God promises us that this period of time, often referred to as an age of grace, will not last much longer. 

This present age is coming to a close and what follows is nothing short of horrific. The door of opportunity to get right with God is closing, folks, and you do not want to be here for what follows.

We are about to enter a 7-year tribulation, the last half of which is called “the great tribulation.” As many as 3/4 of the world’s population will die. There will be tremendous famines, earthquakes, and yes, nuclear war. And plagues. COVID-19 is nothing compared to what’s coming. 

“Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.  I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir (Meaning: Human life will be SCARCE on this planet). Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.” Isaiah 13:9-14

Why would God do this? Because He is holy, perfectly holy, and must judge sin. And if that was all God was, perfect holiness, then we would have no hope. But God is also perfect love. Out of His perfect love, He became a man, the man Jesus, who died on the cross to pay for your sins and mine, the very payment His perfect holiness demanded. And so now, He’s offering each person forgiveness. But it’s up to each person to take it. If they don’t respond and turn to Him, but continue to live for themselves and continue in sin, then there’s nothing left but destruction. Forgiveness is here. Take it now. This may be your last call.

Do you want to solve racism? Start by fixing the problem in your own heart and get right with God now, while there’s still time. Let it start with you. You can be the one to bring about real change. Fix the real problem while there’s time. For Peter goes on to say:

2 Peter 3:3-12

¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved (i.e. this world soon to be dissolved with fire), what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

¹² Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
